schalit-way.net

Debian decided to upgrade the schalit-way.net Drupal last night. Unfortunately, the upgrade process was borked, and this was compounded by my inability to remember the root mysql password (that it shouldn't have needed anyhow IMHO).

The final story is that after a bunch of Googling and digging around I got Drupal to quit complaining every five minutes about its database problem, by running some magic MySQL bits and then hacking around with the carefully-hidden Drupal update.php script. Some time shortly later, I got the logo and favicon for schalit-way.net to come back.

I should either take all of this down or do something with it. Bleah.
